Learn to live peacefully with your body
Your relationship with your body is the longest-lasting relationship of your life. Right now, you might feel like that relationship is filled with hatred, frustration, or insecurity. You might be avoiding parts of life because you don’t feel comfortable showing up in your body.
Your relationship with your body can improve. You can get to a place where you accept the body you have, and you treat it respectfully and kindly. You can learn to show up to the important parts of your life right now, instead of hiding or avoiding because of your body. You can learn to live IN your body, and experience life from a place of embodiment instead of a place of disconnection and criticism.
Body image work is not about changing your body so that you can accept or love it. It’s also so much more than just learning to “love” your body or feel great about its appearance 100% of the time. Body image work is about changing the way you see and experience your body so that you can live peacefully in the body you have. People in bodies of ALL types deserve access to body image support and healing, without being told that their bodies are the problem. My approach to body image work is rooted in the belief that all bodies are good bodies.
